Mother Jones - Yet More Evidence that we are Becoming More Politically Polarized
The article is interesting, but what the writer fails to note are the jumps, one as large as four years (2003-2007) in the charts. It gives those four years the same weight as one for someone glancing at it quickly, and skews perception of the data.
If you have the time, check out the full report. There’s a lot of interesting findings in there; I just wish the charts were made without the jumps.
